Thailand has long been a popular holiday destination for travelers, being both exotic and accessible with Thailand packages for newbie travelers. Thailand is one of the most popular travel destinations in Asia, for good reason. The country offers beautiful beaches, stunning temples, fascinating culture, delicious food and a wide range of accommodation options to suit any budget. Coupled with the fact that prices for souvenirs, food, accommodation and transport are much lower than western standards, this makes Thailand an attractive travel destination for everyone from budget backpackers to luxury honeymooners.
One of the best ways to see Thailand, particularly if you are new to travelling or haven’t visited Asia before, is to take one of the many Thailand holiday packages that are available. These packages can arrange everything for you in advance from your flights and accommodation to activities and transport once you arrive in the country and are a great way to take the hassle out of planning your holiday.
There are many different types of Thailand package holidays so you’ll want to choose one that makes sure you get what you want from your vacation. The most common package type usually includes a couple of nights accommodation in Bangkok for acclimatization, sight-seeing and shopping, followed by a longer stay at one of the beach resorts on the islands of the south east or south west coast.
Package holidays to Thailand are the most common way to see the country for families and honeymooners, arranging your flights and hotels in advance and providing you with a travel representative in the country to sort out any problems once you get there. These Thailand packages are available for all budgets from inexpensive and basic to luxury 5 star resorts and you can sometimes find some great bargains if you book a last minute deal.
If you really want to see the country and get a real flavor of travelling in Thailand you’ll want to choose from one of the more adventurous Thailand tour packages offered by companies like GAP Adventures. These tours will take you on a route around the most popular places to visit in Thailand – common routes may include Bangkok, Chiang Mai, Khao Sok National Park, Ko Samui and other islands. Joining a small group tour like this is great for meeting people and taking away the scary side of travel if you’re travelling on your own.
If you’ve chosen to make your own travel arrangements to Thailand or you want to stay flexible without being tied down to a strict travel itinerary then you might want to consider signing up for one of the shorter Thailand tour packages once you get there. These 2 or 3 day packages cover sightseeing opportunities out of Bangkok or trekking and adventure trips from Chiang Mai and will arrange train or bus travel for you. These Thailand packages are usually quite inexpensive and are a great way to organize your sightseeing without all the hassle of trying to book trains and work out how you’re going to get places.
