Booking a holiday to Torrevieja can be good at any time of year. Situated on the southern Costa Blanca in Spain means a warm climate generally. Many northern Europeans including the English flee their native homelands during the winter months and make Torrevieja their new homes. In fact many northern Europeans have bought second homes in Torrevieja to make use of the fantastic weather and enjoy the Mediterranean lifestyle.

With so many cheap flights daily with Ryan-Air, Monarch and Easyjet flying into Alicante or Murcia it is little wonder that Torrevieja has become a firm favourite with holiday-makers. The close proximity to the airports of Murcia and Alicante add to Torrevieja´s popularity with holiday makers.

Torrevieja weather is known to have over three hundred days of solid sunshine giving it the status of being one of Spain’s healthiest beach resorts. Torrevieja has fantastic promenades which are very busy during the summer and winter months so no matter what the weather there is always something to do in Torrevieja.

There are many bars and restaurants on the promenade and they too make use of the weather by offering meals on their outdoor terraces and enclose the terraces during the winter months so that the restaurants can be enjoyed no matter what season or weather the promenade can be enjoyed all year round.

The summer months in Torrevieja can be very hot and humid but the beaches of Torrevieja with their welcome sea-breezes make the summer heat bearable. In fact a day at the beach with its wide choice of waters ports and sailing are an ideal way to spend your summers in Torrevieja.

Aquopolis Torrevieja’s premier water park is open during the summer months and playing a round of golf in the Spanish sun is something extra to do apart from going to the beaches of Torrevieja.
